Cleanliness Requirements

  • Line-Side Handling: For assembly lines, packaging should be “operator friendly.” Heavy bulk kegs are difficult to handle; smaller 10–15 kg cartons reduce ergonomic risks for workers loading hoppers or feeders.

7. What Buyers Should Specify in Packaging Requirements

To ensure expectations are met, buyers should define packaging standards in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Purchase Order.

When to Stick to Standard:

For general-purpose stamped washers where surface cosmetics are secondary, standard bulk packaging (PE bag + Carton + Pallet) is sufficient and cost-effective.

When to Specify Custom:

Buyers should specify enhanced packaging if:

  • The washers have a strict surface finish requirement (Ra).

  • The parts are prone to tangling (e.g., thin shim washers).

  • The shipment will be stored in high-humidity environments for extended periods (request extra desiccant or VCI).
